- Jorge – Cuban: Latin America Director
Jorge’s last name is not listed here to protect him. Jorge played for the Cuban National team and Professionally in Mexico, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Netherlands. He is one of the few players in Cuba to hit over 400 for the season. He also worked for the Arizona Diamondbacks in the Dominican Republic as a hitting coach for 6 years. He worked for 10 years as a Pastor in his home church and started a Baseball Ministry in Cuba before joining Meeting God in Baseball. Jorge has a calling on his life to train and disciple Pastor/Church Leaders and is directly responsible leading this ministry for MGB.
- Don Schulz – American: Co-Founder and Executive Director
Don worked for the City of San Jose for 29 years and retired as a Division Manager in the Department of Transportation. He has 20 years of management experience with a focus on Organizational Development. Don is dedicated to achieving lasting effectiveness and results in leaders and their organizations. He is a coach and instructor providing leadership development and team effectiveness training. Groups under Don’s leadership have been recognized for both strong long term performance with strong motivations and high morale. Don has coached baseball for 25 years at various levels through High School. Don has a passion for working with young men and influencing their lives in positive ways as they learn to find their way in the world and develop their relationship with God.
- Jeff McDonald – American: Co-Founder and Chairmen of the Board
Jeff has worked Maxim Integrated Products, a global company in the high-tech industry for more than 25 years. He is currently the Executive Director of Procurement for Maxim. Jeff graduated from UCLA where he played baseball for before being drafted by the Seattle Mariners. He played in the minor leagues for 5 years before starting his career with Maxim. Jeff has a deep passion for evangelism through baseball. He has worked with Baseball Chapel in the minor leagues providing Sunday services to professional players/umpires before games. Jeff has been a volunteer baseball coach from little league through high school for the last 20 years. He attends Westgate church and serves as an Chairmen of the Elder Board. Jeff is an entrepreneur at heart and is dedicated to strong stewardship of God’s resources in all ministry efforts.
- Dante Sabutucci – American: Chief Financial Officer
Dante is the owner of Play Ball Sports Academy in Stow, Ohio where he runs a Christian based competitive travel baseball program. He played competitive baseball throughout his youth and played briefly for the University of Akron before being deployed to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm in 1990. Since then, he has coached youth players at various levels including at the high school varsity level as a pitching coach. He attends the First United Methodist Church and serves on the Mission Committee. Since becoming affiliated with Meeting God in Baseball in 2010 through the player clinics and the annual coaches clinics in the Dominican, he has been developing a ministry to connect American and Dominican youth through baseball. The ministry is designed to bring players from the Dominican Republic to play in the United States and teams from the United States to play in the Dominican Republic. By connecting the youth of the different cultures through baseball, there are bonds that are developed and opportunities to bring all people of both countries who are affiliated with these trips to Christ through the game of baseball.

- Bruce Guckelberg – American: Director of Theological Education in Latin America
Bruce has done pastoral ministry in Milwaukee, Chicago, Sacramento, and upstate New York over a period of 30 years. He is an author who has written several books including: “James: Wisdom in Action”, “No Nonsense Discipleship: The Sermon on the Mount”, and is finishing his next book “Legalism: A Spiritual Disease”. Bruce is an international conference speaker, and enjoys equipping people for church leadership, and providing pastors with theological training. He earned his Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, ILL, and his Ph.D. from Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh, IN. Bruce and Carol have led a number of short-term mission teams in Latin America, and currently live in Sacramento, CA.
- John Goulding-American: Director Coaching Clinics
John has been a high school teacher and coach for 34 years in the San Francisco Bay area and at James Logan High school for 21 years. He has been the head baseball coach for 21 years. He is a member of the California Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame (2008), ESPN California Baseball Coach of the Year( 2011), California Coaches Association Baseball Coach of the Year (2012). He is a FCA Huddle Coach and have been serving God with Meeting God in Baseball for four years in the Dominican Republic.
